Job summary
Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands are cost-per-click (CPC) self-service advertising programs in the world of Amazon advertising. To support the activities of Amazon Advertising, the Ad Success Team (AST) is in the process of assembling a group of energetic and highly motivated account specialists. As an Account Specialist, you will work with a portfolio of advertiser accounts and be responsible for helping them achieve their advertising goals through identifying opportunities and optimizing accounts. Additionally, an account specialist also has the ability to test internal tools, collect and share information with internal product and engineering teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need to use your analytical skills, help advertisers grow their existing businesses, and develop new business opportunities. You will achieve business goals and be evaluated on key metrics aligned with the goals of the sales and account management teams. You will need to be technically savvy with an interest in online advertising, good with data, well organized, able to multitask, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be motivated to make phone calls with advertisers to explain optimization recommendations and avenues for resolution. Your commitment to the success of our advertising clients must be strong and you must have a proven track record of exceeding your goals.
The main responsibilities include: –
Complete support for a portfolio of accounts – Standard and High Value Advertisers
Examine each account in the portfolio in detail to understand the current level of performance
Engage with advertisers / in-country account manager to understand their advertising goals and program expectations
Facilitate launch calls with advertisers and facilitate discussion using a predefined agenda, as needed
Flawless execution of end-to-end ad optimization, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
Analyze account performance against key metrics to identify, recommend and implement optimization solutions to increase efficiency and meet customer KPIs
· Analyze data trends and create keyword lists, offers and budget suggestions; data collection and analysis at account / campaign / industry level
Monitor and communicate campaign progress through regular and in-depth information and activity reports, using this knowledge as the basis for future campaigns
Work with account management, sales and marketing and product teams to identify and resolve issues blocking advertiser performance
Identify opportunities to improve Amazon Advertising’s product based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competing products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or graduate diploma (MBA) in a business discipline
Proven professional experience of 2 to 4 years in sales / marketing / advertising
Must have managed global clients while supporting their individual performance goals
Superior verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by experience
Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
Desire to work in a stimulating and fast-paced environment
Flexible to work in rotating shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA in digital advertising or other related master’s degree
Experience in e-commerce or retail
Passion for online advertising and experience in achieving exceptional results
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing priorities
Experience in data analysis, either through professional experience or through your training
Google Ad Words / Bing Ads certification will be an added benefit
