The Analytics and Telemetry Solutions (ATS) team in the Windows Systems and Software (WSS) division of Intel’s Client Computing Group (CCG) is looking for a Software Engineer to develop new innovative features and capabilities in our DCA System Telemetry and Analytics solution . This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join an entrepreneurial team and contribute to the growth and evolution of Intel’s Telemetry Center of Excellence. Your role will be to collect, explore and extract information from structured and unstructured data, to solve a variety of business problems and activate business strategy. You will work closely under the guidance of the Senior Architect alongside peer developers to design and maintain the core system’s telemetry and analysis capabilities. Our DCA telemetry product is already solving customer telemetry problems, as well as finding new opportunities, before they become an urgent need. We have many opportunities to extend the leverage of telemetry-based information across the company and with external clients. Roles and Responsibilities: Uses predictive modeling, statistics, machine learning, data mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract information from structured and unstructured data. Develop software, algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large-scale experiments and build data-driven applications to translate data into intelligence, solve various business problems and activate business strategy. Help companies with occasional inferences, observations to find patterns, relationships in data.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in CE, CS or EE Preferred qualification: Master or higher in CE, CS, EE, Higher diploma in computer science, mathematics, machine learning, operations research and statistics or equivalent expertise. More than 5 years of experience with: SQL, Python, AWS or Azure, Splunk, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI / Tableau, Data Mining, Statistics, analysis reports, etc. Process the data in a form suitable for analysis. Design and development of data products using selected tools and frameworks, as needed and requested. Must have a solid understanding of the internal business segment (stakeholders) and possess strong writing and communication skills. Within this group of companies
