Business Risk Wells Fargo’s approach to risk management revolves around three clearly defined lines of defense – the first line, independent risk management and internal audit – to ensure risk oversight and effective decision-making throughout the organization. Enterprise risk includes the independent risk management function – our second line of defense. Independent risk management in Corporate Risk is responsible for the independent oversight of risk-taking activities. The function is headed by the Chief Risk Officer, who reports to the chairman of the risk committee of the board of directors. Strategic leaders aligned with business functions within the Corporate Risk organization provide an independent view of horizontal and cross-cutting risks. Strategic Enterprise Risk Management Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) is a group reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer who is responsible for a variety of strategic functions within enterprise risk, including risk reporting , risk governance, risk management programs that oversee the measurement and identification of risks, oversight of strategic and reputational risks, and risk optimization and strategy. Enterprise Risk Reporting and Analysis Enterprise Risk Reporting and Analysis (CRRA) is responsible for creating and managing a shared services approach to reporting within our expectations. The team works with each of the L1 risk types to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the management, production and delivery of enterprise risk reports. About the role The candidate will be a Senior Business Risk Associate within the CRRA – Quality Assurance and Reporting / Data Testing team. This team is responsible for establishing quality assurance, testing strategy, standards and procedures, to ensure that all applications, data and controls are tested. In addition, this team will create regression tests and ensure that strong test documentation is in place for all reports carried out by CRRA. Job Description Responsible for supporting and enabling the planning, monitoring and control of all pre-production test activities to ensure accuracy and completeness. Adhere to and perform testing based on the testing strategy. Risking applications and data. Collaborate with sales teams to understand requirements, design test cases, test scripts, test procedures and manage re-testing and validation / approval. Help automate and establish robust regression tests. Qualifications required:. 4 to 8 years. experience in managing teams working on quality assurance and / or reporting applications and / or data testing in the areas of risk reporting. 3+ years of experience in planning and quality sampling, quality and data validation in reporting, quality assurance, report application and data testing. 3+ years of experience in supporting or working on standards quality assurance and reporting. Over 3 years of experience in test planning (documentation of requirements / procedures / cases), execution of test cases and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Experience in test automation and regression testing automation. More than 3 years of experience with BI tools such as SAS, Cognos, Tableau, Microstrategy or SQL Server Reporting Services (Table preferred). Strong analytical skills demonstrated with great attention to detail and precision. . Excellent verbal, written and listening skills. Market Skills and Certifications Desired Qualifications: Experience, understanding and knowledge of business risk exposures within Wells Fargo, including credit risk, market risk or counterparty risk.
