This role requires a wide variety of strengths and abilities, including:

BE / B-Tech / BS diploma or equivalent experience

  • Solid experience in ETL Ab Initio projects (v4.0 and higher), design and documentation of Ab Initio solutions. Ab initio experience including GDE, Plans, continuous flow, m-hub and ACE / BRE.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of SQL and Unix shell scripts

Good experience in the end-to-end implementation of ETL projects based on Abinitio, in particular in the development of data warehouses and markets.

  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture, as well as experience in relational modeling, dimensional modeling and unstructured data modeling

Demonstrates an understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, software development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement

Experience in Big Data technologies is preferred.

Good expertise in impact analysis due to changes or problems.

Abinito administration experience / ETL infrastructure troubleshooting skills are required.

  • Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, Application Resiliency and Security

In-depth understanding and practical skills in scripting / programming UNIX and Python shell scripts

Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication

Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals,
