Job description: Our client, a leading multinational based in Mumbai, is looking for a Human Resources Manager under contract for a period of 5 months, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the work:

The work would provide support for our client’s business affairs. Business functions include sales, marketing, services, business excellence, logistics and delivery, quality and regulatory affairs, legal and finance. Majority of HR practices are global practices for India and customizations are done locally to fit the Indian context.

Job summary:

Our client’s HR team is a lean HR team. 2-3 The associates manage the entire HR spectrum from end to end and our client’s HR philosophies are highly evolved and contemporary. Any associate working in our client’s HR team would be exposed to end-to-end HR. From compensation planning to business day transactions. Employee engagement activities in talent development practices.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities:

– Support sales functions in workforce planning and productivity discussions

– Help companies acquire the right talents by focusing on diversified recruitments

– Manage business day transactions and ensure the accuracy of organizational data at all times

– Lead employee engagement activities for the company

– Help in planning and organizing the training required for the company

– Management of integration and immersion sessions for new recruits

– Support for the socialization of HR policies and point of contact for policy issues

– Build employee connection and provide support in creating standard working documents around many HR processes


– MBA in HR from a renowned business school

– At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of HR business partnerships

– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

– Analytical flair, ability to manage reports in Power BI and Excel Data Analysis

– Understanding of the requirements of the law on businesses and establishments

– High compliance and ability to report potential points of compliance failure

– Ability to develop a good understanding of HR policies
