Job title: Microsoft Full Stack Engineer – Associate
Job description: Application support consultant (.NET)
Shift schedules: 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. IST) and night shift (6:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. IST) on a 2-week rotation basis
Must have prior experience in application support activities (i.e. incident management, problem management, execution of service requests, application performance monitoring, job monitoring and root cause analysis).
Collaborate with third party vendors to resolve support issues related to COTS and SaaS applications.
Collaborate with the Service Desk and end users to provide end-to-end resolution of application support issues.
Coordination / Support for version management and deployments.
Support the ongoing effort to establish the current asset and CMDB database.
Prepare application know-how documentation, if applicable.
Prior development experience in order to be able to work on application maintenance tasks (corrective, preventive, perfective and adaptive maintenance activities) as needed.
Adhere to the customer’s IT support processes and security policy.
Expertise in .NET, SQL and associated technologies
Familiar with Agile & Waterfall SDLC.
Understanding of the ITIL v4 service lifecycle.
Familiar with ServiceNow and JIRA.
Previous experience in service transition.
Well-versed in the on-site-offshore execution model.
Ability to understand business requirements / impacts in a highly technical environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good analytical skills to aid in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Great attention to detail and a service-oriented approach.
Eager to learn new technologies on the job and acquire cross-skills in similar technologies.
