Job description: National Sales Manager – Mumbai
The role:
The National Sales Manager will be a Head of Department – Sales and Operations, managing the entire sales team and sales operations, and reporting to the CEO. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up call center operations, leading the sales team and managing the entire income statement, with a focus on driving sales and optimization of operations. (He) will have a team of sales managers / team leaders and will work closely with the CEO and management to achieve business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
– Manage the business objective end to end, including the set-up of operations and sales, with overall responsibility for P&L
– Set up and manage sales channels.
– Recruit sales managers and individual TLs.
– Drive sales targets for each store, achieving individual and collective business goals of sales, profitability and brand awareness.
– Optimize and manage operations at the channel level to ensure service levels, maintain supply chain efficiency and meet operational working capital cycle goals
– Manage the entire sales team
Desired skills and expertise:
– Over 10 years of experience as a senior executive / sales leader i.e. responsible for national sales / regional sales / operations in a BFSI
– Experience building and managing large and diverse teams
– Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills, with independent ownership and a results orientation
– Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment to plan and manage a variety of projects
– Business knowledge and understanding
– Ability to thrive in ambiguity and to demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment
Qualifications & Experience – Skills:
– MBA from the best level B school
– Over 10 years of experience in sales and operations, having independently managed large vertical companies
– Leadership, team management, sales, operations, analytics
About the client:
Our client is an early stage Fintech start-up that develops real estate lending solutions for developers and home buyers through a fully digital loan processing and matching platform with lending institutions (banks / HFC) completely reinventing the home loan industry. The commercial offering will solve the complex and time-consuming mortgage processing that involves multiple customer and property eligibility and creditworthiness checks through traditional instruments and documents through a fully digital approach to make this process quick and easy for customers and deliver high productivity for credit institutions.
The current housing market is about to undergo a generational shift, with housing plans planned in urban and non-urban markets, housing for all initiatives, PMAY, the development of new urban centers, the ‘infra and the industrial push of the government. This will translate into strong growth in housing finance, fintech and service provider space, an opportunity that is less likely to arise again.
The co-founders have extensive experience in housing finance and real estate space. The company has already secured seed funding and is engaged on a large number of client home loan applications. At the current stage, we are developing leadership in various functions that will be responsible for the growth and induction of the respective teams. Our plan is to have a team of 50 members in the first year.
