A. Procurement and business generation

Commercial delineation of the geographic market for agriculture and the rural community
Supply proposals from individual farmers / Cooperative societies / Rural manis and markets / Kissan clubs / Agricultural producer organizations, etc.
Conduct marketing activities to generate new business
Work on productivity benchmarks

B. Market update and product / process change

Keep abreast of market demands, competition and customer banking behavior.
Understand the changing market dynamics and propose modifications in various product offerings.
To keep abreast of changes in state government laws and policies.

C. Building and maintaining relationships

To liaise with new and existing customers for relationships.
Be in contact with agro-centers / rural mandis / rural markets / Kisan clubs to maintain and deepen existing relationships.
Handle complaints received from customers within stipulated TAT limits.

D. Delinquency / Rotation and collection / Housekeeping

Work towards minimal delinquency in the portfolio.
Follow up with clients for recovery.
To monitor account rotation
To avoid dropping customer account limit, be sure to submit documents like LAD, CAM, etc.
Support the legal and remedial team for legal actions
Work to keep the parameters of Housekeeping under control.

E. Farmer education and capacity building

Organize farmers’ meetings at village level and educate farmers on various products offered by the bank
Sensitize farmers to different aspects of banking and keep them informed of tools and technologies to improve agricultural production.
Educate farmers on debt relief, crop insurance and government subsidies.

F. Increased penetration and cross-selling

Cross-selling other asset and liability products
Promotion of digital platforms like NetBanking, Mobile Banking, PayZapp, Insta Alert, Smart Buy, Chillr, etc.

G. Training and development of SO / HBL

Use commercial resources (HBL / SO) for optimal commercial support.
Train support staff and improve their skills by providing regular training for better customer relations.
To monitor performance and advise for delivery

H. Relationship with retail branches and other stakeholders

Liaise with Credit to ensure timely decision making on proposals and close out of housekeeping items.
Coordinate with the catch-up team for NPA cases and work on the recovery of the same
Coordinate with the local operations team for disbursement
Liaise with the RBB team for branch activation for KGC activities and to provide the best services to clients
Liaise with Commercial Correspondents (BCs) for new and existing customer relationships
